Group 2

Group 2 taught their lessons on goods and services.  Their lessons were minion themed which such a cute idea for the students.  Each slide and activity contained minions doing different crazy things.  When they needed the students to write, there was a little minion in the corner with a clipboard and a pencil.  The group covered several different vocabulary words including: 

• Goods: Things that are made for people to buy and use.
• Example: cupcake
• Service: Something that someone does for you.
• Example: Teacher
• Consumer: A person that buys a good or a service. 
• Example: Buying a snack because you're hungry.
• Producer: A person that makes a good or a service. 
• Example: Mom has a garden to sell the fruit and vegetables.
• Taxes: Money that goes to the government. 
• Example: Taxes go to a school.

The group included several different interactive activities to help the students develop a much better understanding of the concepts.  The group was able to keep the minion theme throughout the whole lesson which was so fun for the students and created a relatable experience.
